Snakes & Ladders

Sometimes Twitter is lovely, and someone you follow shows you something that you didn’t know about. Yesterday, that meant CuriousBritishTelly directing me to a sitcom I know nothing about, to my surprise.

Snakes & Ladders was written by Marks & Gran, and starred Adrian Edmondson and John Gordon-Sinclair. It was on Channel 4 in the autumn of 1989. Here’s a great clip featuring a cameo by Rik Mayall.

You might be able to find the whole series online somewhere, I couldn’t possibly comment, but I will be watching it this week with joy in my heart.

They were filming the pilot for Bottom in 1989.
