This sketch, aside from being brilliantly written, and well-performed by both Steve Carell and Jenna Jolovitz, demonstrates Carell’s range and depth. Look at how natural and giving he is at the start, playing the straight man, before the roles reverse. Jenna’s great too, and it makes the sketch fantastic.
It’s a long sketch, but doesn’t feel it.
