Extremely Violent Last Action Hero

Except, Last Action Hero isn’t extremely violent. It is however born from a spec script called Extremely Violent by Zak Penn and Adam Leff, which was later re-written by Shane Black and David Arnott, and polished by William Goldman, and tinkered with by final director John McTiernan.

I watched this movie again last night, and it’s much better than it’s given credit for, and much better than it had any right to be given the rushed production schedule, that left literally no time for a proper edit.
