Maggie And Her starred Julia McKenzie and Irene Handl, running on LWT for two series between 1976 and 1979. Written by Leonard Webb, it was about a single woman living opposite a nosey older lady. In the pilot, McKenzie’s character was called Poppy, but this was changed 17 months later when the series came to air, complete with its newly adjusted title.
