Ep 206: Pineapple Express

On this week’s Sundays Supplement (which you can listen to here), I promised I would post the Allan A Dale sketch that we were referencing at the end of the show. It was originally* performed as part of an episode of Not Only But Also, and later re-shot for an ITV show (I think), and this remake totally missed the point of the sketch. The trouble is, that’s the only version I can find on YouTube:

I could tell you all about the original, explaining the set up and camera angle, but it would really suck all the fun out of it. If I ever find the original NOBA version, I’ll post it.

(* I say originally, it was of course a bit written for a Footlights revue years before)
