Sitting behind the big juicy six today is a sitcom I still can’t quite believe ever existed. It’s called Heil Honey I’m Home! You may remember it from a blog about cancelled curios a while back.
It’s presented as a lost 1950s sitcom, and aired after an episode of Dad’s Army on the Galaxy Channel, which was part of the now defunct British Satellite Broadcasting line up. Not surprisingly, only the first episode ever aired, in spite of its impressive writing credentials (Geoffrey Perkins). It was cancelled, possibly as part of the takeover by Sky.
