After taking a long look at the press coverage of the Only Fools And Horses festive editions, we saw that a lot of the channels’ focus was on movies. I assumed this was a relatively recent thing, from the mid-1980s onwards, but twas ever thus.
It’s well worth clicking the image and reading it all in full.
But it’s interesting to note that shows aren’t being called Christmas specials really, more cleverly timed installments. Though Not Only … But Also does get the ‘special’ moniker.
And it’s still all about the films, even as we come into Christmas week of 1966.
Till Death Us Do Part gets a small paragraph.
And a tiny mention here, too.
It actually got more prominent coverage for its second episode.
