At Last The At Last The 1948 Show Clippings

As David Frost’s ITV show drew to a close in 1967, there came announcements that he was to produce (but not appear in) his own show’s replacement. Here’s how the Daily Mirror reported this news on Monday the 23rd of January.

On Thursday of that same week, The Stage also reported on the new show.

A couple of weeks later, and from The Stage came more news on the staffing of the show.

And here’s what Kenneth Eastaugh thought of the first episode.
