Sometimes ITV makes programmes that are broadcast on the BBC. Hence, why the Carlton produced and ITV Studios distributed sitcom Doctors And Nurses appeared on BBC One in 2004. Written by Phil Hammond and Nigel Smith, it featured a rather stellar cast, including Adrian Edmondson, Mina Anwar, David Mitchell, and Madhav Sharma. This one completely passed me by, I’ll be honest, and it’s almost nostalgic to hear the continuity announcer say something like ‘an hour of new comedy now’ …

It only lasted for six episodes.
